A modest selection of our achievements:

  • E-commerce system for all educational institutions in Holland

    • SpikyFruit developed a closed circuit e-commerce system for the European marketleader in computer refurbishment. The system exclusively grants access to students, teachers and other employees of any official Dutch educational institute, allowing them to purchase A-grade refurbished hardware.
    The system also offers the unique posibility to install official licenced Microsoft software on the refurbished machines.

    The platform is based upon osCommerce and has been developed in close harmony with several companies.

  • 14 Regional European websites within a week

    • One of the biggest players in the office products industry, a listed multinational, wanted to launch fourteen European websites.
    SpikyFruit was responsible for the technical implementatation and coordination.

    Apart from the actual implementation we were also responsible for the technical maintenance of the websites, along with being the technical part of the second line helpdesk.

  • Redundant infrastructure

    • In cooperation with brandname OpenBSDservers.nl
     we have setup a redundant international network that guarantees the availability of a mission critical application.
    In case of a failing machine another server in the pool will take over transparantly.
    This is made possible through various machines in multiple countries, all hosted in different datacentra.

  • Dedicated Helpdesk

    • A multi branched Dutch company trusts SpikyFruit as their main helpdesk. We offer support through phone and e-mail for all workstations and servers (Windows, Linux and BSD) in all their branches.

    SpikyFruit also offers training for all employees in case new applications are introduced.

  • Dutch osCommerce community

    • SpikyFruit sponsors, maintains and actively supports the Dutch osCommerce community since their start in 2003.
    The community, currently counting around 10.000 registered members and a multitude of visitors, offers itself support through the forum software we provide.

    We also offer osCommerce Netherlands free servers, datatraffic and rackspace.
